†Libeskind London Project a Glimpse of Ground Zero Future?†Eight years after Daniel Libeskind first designed a goofy addition to London's Victoria and Albert Museum, it still isn't built and it doesn't even have a countertop with a typo marking its spot while the powers that be keep haggling over what to do with it.† Sound familiar? It could be a glimpse into Ground Zero's future - years and years of arguing and looking for money to build something no one seems to want much.† The only difference is: One project is a museum; the other is a monument and symbol to world peace and human cooperation whose continued absence gives continuing strength to the forces of barbarism. Another Crack in the Twisted Sister FacadeThe architect who's already been paid millions for his bogus master
†plan now wants another million for making it even worse - but his new lawsuit against WTC leaseholder Larry Silverstein is a good thing because it brings to light even more of the dirty laundry and dirty dealings associated with the fraud Governor Pataki, Mayor Bloomberg and the LMDC keep trying to pass off in the name of freedom. July 13, 2004Citigroup says No to the Twisted Sister†A major corporation said "no thanks" to the "F" Tower vision of downtown by sending 1,000 of its lower Manhattan employees to New Jersey - and 700 of its mid-town people to Long Island. Voting with its feet, Citigroup's July 13 announcement cuts through all the July 4 cornerstone BS and shows the world the current state of the fraud being perpetrated thereon by Governor Pataki, Mayor Bloomberg and the LMDC. No one wants anything to do with their politically, philosophically and physically twisted incarnation of the Statue of Liberty. Like most of us, they are unimpressed and inspired. Think how different it would be if what went up in smoke September 11 was going back up in steel today? [

Ground Zero Dirty Laundry Shows Fraud of F Tower†Here's another story about Daniel Libeskind suing Larry Silverstein and the funny thing here is: One of his complaints is that Silverstein has made the Twisted Sister much larger than Danny imagined - gee, now it has a whole 2.6 million square feet, unlike the Twins, each of which had 4.8 million. Silverstein knows he needs more room: Why doesn't he just rebuild the Twins and be done with it? At least that way he'd have tenants and he wouldn't be laughed at around the planet for calling a 60-story tower topped with scaffolding and wind turbines the world's tallest building (which it will NEVER be, but that's another story - see TTT's soon-to-be-up-and-running "Twin Towers Talk" column for more details). July 12, 2004Hard words for the cluelessWhen New York Post columnist Steve Cuozzo wrote a pro-F tower/anti-rebuilder screed on July 4, several pro-Twin Towers folks slapped him upside his head - rhetorically speaking, of course. [

Four landscape-architecture firms re-imagine ground zero.Rebuilders of the Twins aren't the only people thinking that the
†Twisted Sister and its deformed brethren are the wrong thing for Ground Zero. Checkout these no-buildings-at-all plans -- and then imagine how each of them would look with just two buildings - the Twin Towers - rising from any one of those designs. [

July 4, 2004TTT/WTCRM/AOAF Holds Successful Press Conferences in New York & Los AngelesCongratulations to everyone who participated in the New York and
†Los Angeles Press Conferences. We couldn't hand out the shirts, buttons, stickers, and business cards fast enough. Everyone wanted to know what was going on. When people realized what we were advocating, some people were so moved that they handed us cash donations right on the spot. Many speakers were on hand: Louis Epstein, Cherie Fernandez, Joy Goldberg, David Kelly, Regan McBannon (who flew in from Sacramento), Andy Martin, Deroy Murdock, and Joe Wright. The press conference was widely covered by the major metropolitan media.
†Many many thanks to Brett Cuvin & David Kelly from TTT on doing their part of organizing the event. Many thanks to Lou Epstein & Joe Wright and everyone at the WTCRM. Many thanks to Joe Wright for securing a highly sought out location.
†Super thanks to Robin Heid, Executive Coordinator of TTT who put on
†quite a show in Los Angeles. Robin participated in a press conference with Keith Edwards from All One All Free. Robin eloquently discussed all the reasons why we should be rebuilding the Twin Towers. Keith Edwards brought his whole family and friends out from San Diego to be with us today. It's worth mentioning that Keith's family could not be more supportive. Doing non profit work is tough enough but to actually have your entire family literally standing by you is something to be valued. Together, we put on
†a collaborative effort that was successful in every sense. People came over to our tent and inquired - a lot of people in Los Angeles have no idea what is going on and we were on hand to let them know. In addition to the phenomenal BBQ (spearheaded by Sandy & Jerry Edwards - Keith's parents) we had a special tent which showcased the two California based Twin Tower designs. One by Robin Heid: "The Peoples' Plan" and the design by Keith Edwards. Both had their models on display and drew a lot of interest - most favorable. Everyone seems to like seeing the Twins rise again.
