TTA RALLY IN CENTRAL PARK IS A HUGE SUCCESS!
TTT participated in a very successful rally hosted by the Twin Towers Alliance. Great speeches were givenby all including Margaret Donovan, Richard Hughes, Dave Kelly, Keith Edwards, Joy Goldberg and Andy Martin just to name a few. A documentary film crew was there to capture the entire event. Many people donated at the TTT table and received TTT tee-shirts, bumper stickers, buttons, etc. There were many interested people in the park that came up to us and wanted information - and information they got.
Ed Schramling's winning model of the TTT design contest was on display well into the night and lit up for all to see. Mr. Schramling made his official acceptance speech at this event.

9/11 5th ANNIVERSARY RALLY
SEPT. 10TH - CENTRAL PARK BAND SHELL - 4PM
-- BECAUSE THE PEOPLE WANT THEIR TOWERS BACK --
On this 40th anniversary of the World Trade Center's ground-breaking, TTT is proud to announce our participation in a collective event on Sunday, September 10th, 2006 at the Central Park Band Shell in New York City. After five long years of tremendous dedication on the part of so many, we all have the opportunity to present a united front and give voice to the silent majority. We sincerely hope that any and all pro-rebuilding organizations and individuals, past and present, will see the potential value of being there to show that only one thing matters -- putting the Towers back where they belong. It should be a great day and we can give each other a big round of applause for caring so much and trying so hard for so long. And it is going to pay off. Stay tuned for ffurther details.

The LMDC Calls it Quits!
Everyone at TTT would like to thank Governor Pataki for putting on the most elaborate and longest running puppet show in the history of the world. Thank you, George, for wasting a horrendous amount of time, money, energy, and our hopes and dreams - you did an amazing job. [

So long Gretchen...
The head of the WTC Memorial Foundation is the latest casualty in the long list of setbacks at Ground Zero. Pataki & Bloomberg lost faith that she could raise the necessary 1 billion dollars for the cost of the memorial. 1 billion dollars? The memorial costing 1 billion dollars could be even more ridiculous than the LMDC even existing. There is no good reason why the memorial should cost that much and everyone seems to know it. Worth mentioning is that Gretchen actually raised 130 million dollars. Not bad. How about taking that money and making a beautiful and worthy memorial. Do we think it could be done for such little money? Read all about this latest mess at the link below. Way to go Gretchen, you did the best you could considering the circumstances. [

Gov. Pataki's approval rating is the lowest in New York's history in the last 23 years. New York has spoken. Pataki's mishandling of Ground Zero can arguably be the biggest display of a personal agenda New York has ever seen. If this is the way he handled Ground Zero, what makes him think in his most wildest of dreams that he can handle an entire country, our United States of America. Well George, there's always retirement... and the Post Office. [

Larry Silverstein agrees to give up control of the WTC. Work to begin on Freedom Tower? Just like when work began two years ago when they laid the foundation cornerstone? If this isn't the biggest blunder New York is attempting to make, we don't know what is. And when will the Freedom Tower be completed? 2012? How come Las Vegas can put up the largest hotels in record time but New York's leaders can not reclaim and REBUILD what the people want?? The deal is not completed until Larry signs.
Pataki said this today: "We are not going to just build low in the face of a war against terror."
Has anyone reminded the Governor what he said in 2002? "There will be no building taller than 50 stories at the WTC." And this is a man who wants you to trust him to be your President? [

July 28, 2005On July 28, Ken Gardner and his Twin Towers II group held an event to support their alternate memorial. They had many speakers, video screens, a tent and one heckler. The reviews were not that impressive but that is okay. One thing is for sure, it doesn't matter how flashy a presentation is - it is the content that matters. Who you are and what you have to say is most important. This should go for any pro-rebuilding group of any kind.

March 31, 2005Here's a story on the soon-to-be world's tallest building. In short, it means the Twisted Sister will NEVER be the world's tallest, and thus the provincials of NYC have continuously and blatantly lied to New Yorkers and the American people about that fact (even if it is built, it will not top out until after Burj Dubai is complete). Geopolitically, rebuilding the Twins will suck the air from Burj Dubai because it may be taller but it will never be a powerful a symbol or presence as rebuilt Twins. [
